Salutations, my loyal Guards.
In this Documentation will be a brief understanding of how The Chronicle Guard Works, you may skip chapters to your satisfaction, but we do employ that you read all of it as it will concern all Guards and Overseers.
The Chronicle Guard (A Brief History):
After the assassination of the fair Empress, and the kidnapping of Lady Emily. The hunted Lord Protector Corvo, was out seeking revenge and finding the soon to be Empress Emily. He drew blood and slit throats to those in his way, chaos was high and the rat plague didn't help with it. Associates later found out that the once Royal Spymaster had brought over the plague and the rats so that he can claim the throne as The Lord Regent of Dunwall. After the assasination of the Spymaster at the hands of Corvo, and the execution of the so called "Loyalists" Lady Emily, now Empress Emily lead Dunwall into a fit of chaos and blood, the rat plague grew stronger and stronger. One of the most common tales of Empress Emily was the story of where she got two teams of fifty sailors to build to glorious boats in her name. After their completion she ordered that the boats should collide into one another, and that the sailors stayed on the burning ships until they died. Corvo however was hidden, he saw what he had done and ran into hiding. He ran into the sewers only to find a box, a box with a child in it. The child had the mark of the Outsider as did he. Then the Outsider appeared to him. "His names is Loken Adept, he will free you." Over many years Corvo trained the boy into the art he had succeeded. But over time Corvo grew old, he fell returning back to the sewers with a note that the now fully grown man would read. Corvo fell and barely breathing. Loken watched. He watched as blood spluttered from Corvo's eyes. He watched as swarms and swarms of rats decapitated Corvo's body. Such hate, Such anger had risen in Loken, his father had been killed by the very thing he created. Using the powers of the Outsider, Loken created an inferno, he incinerated the rats and left black ash where the remains of his father's body lied. Travelling out of the sewers and into Dunwall tower, Loken silenced every single guard before they could yell. He came to the pavilion where Empress Emily waited. He wanted to see an end of this dictatorship, using all his strength he called up armies and armies of rats out of the earth, they swarmed into the pavilion and tore Empress Emily to pieces. After consulting with the current Lord High Overseer, and telling his tale to him. He obliged to Loken's offer. He became the new Lord Regent of Dunwall. Guards had toughened and become more competent, the rat plague dispersed like smoke and Dunwall was under a new stable government.
Trainings:
Trainings are held at "The Refined District" which is located behind Dunwall Tower and at "The Hound's Pits Pub" which is located on a different place. Both links are or will be available within the Group's Description.
Trainings are held from Captains upwards, but Captains and Majors must have a Commander or Higher supervising them at all times. Should the Commander leave they must assign a replacement Commander or ask the Training to be closed.
Should a Training be happening at "The Refined District" and an Overseer Tryout Organizer / Trainer Organizer wishes to host his/her Training/Tryout there, then they get upper authority, and all events there must cease.
Trainings should consist of: Swashbuckling (Sword Fighting), Duelling (Pistol), modernised gunnery (Other clan's weapons), and Shadowed Movement (Obbies). The order of activitites is up to the Host and no one else.
Overseers:
Overseers are determined by the Lord High Overseer, who assigns certain Overseers to host Tryouts for those wishing to become Overseers.
Overseers can only use their power when a Level 3 Overseer, Overseer Organizer or the Lord High Overseer himself is present. If an Overseer is using their power when neither are present they must be reported to the Lord High Overseer, with valid proof (Video with player list fully open)
Overseers are allowed to arrest, interrogate and execute prisoners.
Officials:
Officials are people associated with the diplomatic government, they are part of decision making for everything, be it Charters or new Lords/Officials.
Uniform:
Wearing the correct uniform is compulsory at Dunwall, as it says where and where you're not allowed to be.
Charters:
Charters are the laws decided by the Officials, Lords and the Lord Regent.
Ranking up:
One can rank up by going through the basic process of attending Trainings and excelling well to be promoted up. The highest they can be promoted to is Commander II for then they are required to send an application for being Officials. Should they want to be.
Becoming an Official:
When you become an Official or, if you become one. The Lord Regent will address you personally and will explain in more detail about what your role is.
H- Class Guard Trainings:
These are held by Officials, they can be done so that H- Class Guards can understand, learn and adapt their current abilities, be it leading, training others, or even being better in combat.
