true - beveling enabled, outlines forced disabled on the BasePart false - beveling disabled, outlines allowed on the BasePart Resubmission due to confusion. Hopefully you'll understand this one. Anyway, you have the option to turn off outlines, so why not add an option to turn on bevels?

WNTS. Bevels were removed just like the old studs that are removed. ___ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hod0WtYE4SA , what's really good?!

@uni Where does it say you can't suggest to bring back previous updates? It says you can't undo massive updates, nothing about bringing one of them back

@ legomario365 By logic, the removal of bevels IS a massive update since a total of bricks and parts used of overall places are tons. ___ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hod0WtYE4SA , what's really good?!

@unication Remember how people petitioned to have a way to disable outlines, and eventually got their way? That proves that bevels deserve the same treatment.

Also, the WNTS states that you cannot suggest to REMOVE an update. This suggestion is an addition.

bevels were removed because dynamic lighting didnt work with them and they were causing problems with it

@withyourdestiny No they weren't, they were removed to make way for outlines.

Bevels were a hindrance in terms of performance, and also would of delayed dynamic lighting further. "While we do see outlines as part of our vision for the ROBLOX aesthetic – and they do look great in many instances – the feedback we've received indicates they don’t yet work everywhere. We will continue to work toward a perfect implementation but, in the meantime and with the latest version of ROBLOX Studio, you now have complete control." Suggests that they may remove the option at some point in the future. --- No support.

@Desperian That won't happen - unless they decide that the community doesn't matter.

"Highlights all these great EBR places, which rely on the use of bevels - Removes bevels, as they do not fit their vision." You were saying?

I'm not going to make this a "hate the devs" thread.

Bevels don't fit in with the future look of Roblox. It's very likely sooner or later the little checkbox to turn off outlines will just dissapear Blogpost mentions that they are made optional in the "meantime", which indicates this will not be optional forever and the option will probably silently dissapear with the first next big studio update. It's a very successfull tactic many corporations use when a new feature is not liked, very often used by Facebook btw. In other words bevels will never come back and outlines will stay (in the future probably without being optional). Quick, don't think about cats!

"Problem is, enabling the lines made these overlaps visible. 3D objects that once looked natural looked jumbled and hacked together." And they never thought that removing bevels had the same effect...

No support If you want your precious bevels back so much just use meshes.
