This happened to me a lot. But I learned from it. Let me guess- You are doing this on a laptop with LOW FILE SPACE and your files are 40 megabytes. |

*points to the save button* |
and now it is all gone. Builderman (or any other admin) you must fix this error!! now every time i load something on roblox, it says: "An Error has occurred in the script of this page. Click Yes to Continue using scripts, or no to stop." or something along those lines. It does this twice every time i try to do anything on roblox. roblox has caused my computer to freeze multiple times in the last 5 hours. What is wrong with your program!? |
how much ram do you have? |
I DID SAVE IT!! but i wasnt expecting everything to be lost. I have a copy saved to my comp but when i upload it it freezes the comp and i have to shut down. |
im no computer expert... what is ram? if it is like space i have left i have more than 100 "GigaBytes". |
now almost every 2 min i get this thing "roblox has encountered an error and has to quit sorry" or something like that, and it closes. i sent numerous error reports, redownloaded roblox, i tryed everything!! |
go to start > control panel, then click "performance and maintenance", and then click "see basic information about your computer" then go to the "general" tab and look at the bottom where it says "computer". read that until you find where it says "(number) MB of RAM". then tell me that number. |
and btw my mom says a gigibite is big so i have lots o space |
oh, RAM is how much memory your computer has (how fast it runs), not how much space it can hold ;) |
my rams? i have five hundred two of em. |
are you one of those best-buy geek-squad guys?? |
and i dunno if it matters but i got the new windows vistar thing. does that not work with roblox anymore?? |
here i copy and paste what i see:
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20 GHz
Memory(RAM): 502 MB
System Type: 32-bit Operating System |

i'm not part of that company, i just know a bit about this stuff :p
vista may be the problem, but it could also be the RAM. when running Roblox, try and make sure that your not running anything else (any other games, music from windows media player, downloading, etc.). also another way to make your computer to run faster is a process called "defragging" (it may take a few hours to a few weeks, but it makes your computer run much quicker). to do this go to start > all programs > accessories > system tools > disk defragmentor. it will then pop-up a window, you then click on the C drive (or whatever your main hardrive is) and click defragment. you will then have to wait until it's done (close all programs and don't run anything until it's done). you could go watch TV, or go outside, watch some movies, etc. and check up on it every few hours to see if it's done. once it is, then try again. |
i dont have any good RAMs? and i dont wanna wait a week... or even a few hours is there any other way?? |
besides, under accessories i dont have the "system tools". remember that vistar or whatever i have is differant. |
no, your RAM is really good for Roblox. I don't know what else you could do. |
o wait i found defragmentor. ill try it overnight. if it kicks me off of here, than thx. do you want a reward?? |
try going to start > run, then type in dfrg.exe |
no, i don't need a reward :p |
