Pretty much, I think after an account is permanently banned for a while, it's name should be up for grabs again.
There are many cool names now lost to us because they are unused, and I think they should be "recycled"
So yeah, post below if you agree. |

What about "Locked Down"
Hidden unless someone wanted to register the account
If the email was verified ROBLOX would send a email to the user
If it wasn't read it'd be a automatic "Yes"
If there was no email, they'd allow the person to have it.

If an account is permanently banned then the username should become available again.
Also if an account remains sitting unused for over a year should be deleted and the username become available as well. Or maybe just make the user have to choose a new name if they ever come back after that year and their name being taken away. |

If someone is gone for over a year, the chances that they will ever return is extremely slim. Most likely around 1%. And if someone is so uninterested in Roblox that they leave for months at a time then I highly doubt they care about a name. |

Ok, you stated some sentences that the new owners of the names might use as a joke. What is wrong with that? If the person can't actually commit the same crime that those people did, then why does it matter? |

An idea with good intention, but sorry, I can not support.
Why?
Because even if the account is deleted, the items are not.
If someone named themselves after a famous user like jradvaldez (not sure if spelling is correct), all the place visit revenue, his items, created items, and possibly even stats could go to the new name holder.
Re-doing the script that allows this would cause a lot of pain and anguish.
You can change my mind though if you reply a fix to my concerns. |

Easy, when the account is deleted, every piece of info involving that account is deleted as well. |

I agree with cmon, many reused names from famous people, it could show if its a reused name on their profile but there could be another jaredvaldez on the player list. |

I agree, a deleted account should really be deleted. However, two things to consider:
1. Appeals
The perma-banned person may wish to appeal first, so I think that after an account is terminated, it should only be really deleted after a month.
2. Make some accounts un-claimable.
Famous people who were banned should not be allowed to have their names re-used. Before you say "they can't commit the same crimes", alot of banned famous people are banned for exploiting. (Dignity, 1x1x1x1, jaredvaldez, and all those.) Have you seen how many script kiddies have exploits these days? The last thing we need is to let them think they are 1x1x1x1.
3. Do not make un-banned people's account names takeable.
Do I even need to explain this one? Time-based account deletions make no sense unless a company is really struggling and needs to seriously down-size their server costs. Aside from identity-spoofing, what about people with lifetime BC? I know I would hate to come back to ROBLOX a year or two from now after leaving and have some stupid kid using my name. |
