f I recall correctly, there's been a bunch of cases of swine flu throughout the years. As for the giant breakout we just had, that started in the US, I believe, went to Mexico. :>

Swine flu DID start in Mexico. Then it spread to the rest of the world. Note: In the US, swine flu cases are pretty mild. In Mexico, the cases are really bad!

But it didn't exactly start in Mexico, there's has been rumors that it started on China or Texas, but when they discovered the epidemic it already apperared somewhere else, but it long spreaded from Mexico.
