I have been playing games on ROBLOX since 07 as you can see, so I do know how roblox was back then, compared to how it is today.
Back in the earlier years, when a car hit a player, the car won. Nowadays, if you hit a player with a car they don't budge! That is so annoying to me whenever I play a game. When I drive a car I have to watch out for people. This ruins so many games. How come humanoids are so much stronger than cars now?
And then theres the sword lag, where you think someone is there, but they are really a few studs ahead of that, so you can't do any sword damage on them! Back then, when you saw a player, that's where they ACTUALLY were on and you could easily deal word damage properly.
What I want to know is why they keep updating the stupidest little things and breaking them. I KNOW that they are fixing some glitches, but they are making more. And I DO KNOW they are working hard, but I think they are working hard on the WRONG THINGS.
Like someone said before, you could take the old ROBLOX from 07 and publish it and it would be so different, they couldn't sue you. I wouldn't doubt if that was true, because I KNOW how different it was. I am just so sick and tired of them ruining this game, and you may think they listen to everyone, but that's not true. I believe they have their favorites just like most people do, and they don't listen to the general public always.
I don't know whether you are going to yell at me, support me, or whatever, but all I am saying is that I am fed up with this. Why can't they just make it a SIMPLE person walking aroud rather than all these other trinkets they've added on to humanoids that make them so glitchy.

I joined in 2008, but I still saw ROBLOX in 2007. Too much has changed, and the physics are so messed up, I'd rather spend months programming my own physics engine in C++, just to see some good physics, if I don't want to play Crysis to check out some good physics. |

I dont know anything about the sword glitch but I think I know why they did that to the car hitting a person, its probably because of the noobs that kept hitting people with cars and not leaving them alone which is what kept happening to me in early 2008 when a car was stronger than a person (I had a different account) but I still would like to have cars stronger than a person cause its weird if a car hits a person and just stops. |

Back then when alittle lag hits while you ram a player they still fly away... But nowadays if alittle lag hits they don't fly away but just goes through the car like what ever... Back then, the animation of walking up the stairs seems better than now. It seems weird but I keep feeling that back then when you trip/fall you get up faster than the new updates.. Now it seems forever to try to even get up all you do is bounce and stuff. |

I swear, they must die, mods are mad, the public is mad, everyone is mad, and what are these updates doing? Destroying ROBLOX little by little. They are only patching up the LITTLE glitches and not focused on anything other than the LITTLE glitches and removed CFrame. Ban hammer no longer works thanks to the Devs.
The mods go like this, *Mods all stare at the devs with an evil look* "You mess with ban hammer and you mess with me" We go like, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING ROBLOX YOU ARE RUINING US AND YOUR BUSINESS"
By updating those LITTLE glitches it has caused NOTHING but PROBLEMS! I suggest we protest. |

I am so jealous, I have been playing for about a year now and 2007 Roblox, from what people talk about it seems so much better. Wish I was there. |

I do agree on this, I joined early 08', and it was about the same. It was better back then. But let's see you programm this game. It's very frustrating and it's not that much of their fault. It's us ruining it. |

Wow... and i thought ROBLOX was better now... You cant blame the devs i mean they are trying the hardest to fix the probs but you gotta realize that this game isnt perfect and may never be. I mean if you make car stronger *which is so funny when ppl fly away* noobs and evil players disguised as Guests can bother you quite easly. |

But you gotta realize, they keep fixing these SMALL glitches which keep making bigger glitches, Example: They removed this one thing just to make crashes go a little bit lower A LITTLE BIT LOWER rate and that thing they removed was something to do with scripting. So Thanks to the devs, we can't script what they removed. |

i agree, right now they are working on the two-hats glitch, NOBODY EVEN REALLY CARES ABOUT IT MOST PEOPLE CANT GET IT....only the famous people like mariomario and bl00xer can get it. and stickmasterluke, because they build so much they know exactly when to click :P anyways i have played in 2007, but on my other account. (firepilot) the physics were much better. like back then if you shot an arrow, it exactly has to hit, not about 10 studs away from you, it actually sticks to YOU not the stupid invsibile brick >_> and now walking down stairs looks like you are falling downwards.....|o|

The two hat glitch is easy to get people. I don't have it because I don't have good hats to mix :P
Anyway, yes, their physics do fail.
*Don't message me about the hat. Really. If you don't know the glitch by now, it probably will stay that way. |

yea, even i dont like new roblox. physics fail, they fix only lil bugs but never major ones. if they would do new physics roblox would be avesomest block game xD |

I joined mid-07 and its way diffrent. 1: The devs and mods acually READ and RESPONDED to threads. 2: NONE of the dumb expensive "force you to join builder's club" junk. 3: although we had no animation, we had barely any lag and we could acually dodge stuff. So ya I think the devs ruined the physics and game to a grand extent. |
