Agreed, the price floor is insane. Roblox is doing this because they want to basically force people to buy a membership. Or wait 10 days to buy the Top or Bottom of a shirt. If you think about it its not a bad idea but. They really need to stop with this. |

I would love to have this come in effect, but ROBLOX seems stubborn. Every company tries to make more money, and this is their attempt. By making everything so expensive, you make people so desperate that they buy BC. Unfortunately, this could go the other way. I don't think ROBLOX looked into the effect of these price floors.

That would be horrible.
Some of us use the -1 ID thing to look at the templates for inspiration, like their style, the colors, etc. Not just resize + reupload.
Call me a "copier" all you want, I won't care much, But it's hard to make anything original, and doing so ends up getting no attention anyway.
They just need a way so the same identical shirt/pants cannot be re-uploaded. |

While the price floor IS bad, Roblox DOES need money.
Think about it, Roblox can't even run commericals anymore (That, and all the "ITS FREEEE" memes), because they don't make enough money.

Clockwork was probably one of the best staff here, but back in 2008, they probably couldn't afford to have a large staff.
That was back when Roblox was about the size of Mojang is now.

Lots of people spend time, money and effort in to this, money isn't too hard to get if you know how, and willing to spend time on it.
You only need to work 70 hours a week (Yeah, that's a long time, but still,) to be guaranteed at least $7,000.
You can buy a car in a week from that.
Besides, think about what Roblox does with the money they get.
Not being a 10 year old who uses free models for everything like Tuffmeister there, claiming he rules the forums, gets you DevEx.
Roblox is being nice to us.
It just makes sense to be nice to them too.

Sure, there is a legitimate reason to not like this update, but your points are so far flawed, you gain no conclusion from it.
OBC is rather cheap. You only need to work for 2 hours for a month.

You get 12 a day on the weekends on this already

Anyone can get OBC.
It's not that impressive if you have it.

This is your only point I agree on.
Getting money is a matter of making shirts and pants and making overly complex games and limited.
Some of us, actually RUN clans, and we get NOTHING out of it to keep it alive.
And we can't sell them either.
But, you're all complaining about how everything is too expencive to get in the first place.
Think of simple logic.
If everyone suddenly was rich:
Everyone is now poor.
If you have as much as the person next to you, what's the point of money?
Sure, they need to open up more ways to get it
But if you don't actually use them, don't complain.

Besides, no one really cares about clothing.
Other than a uniform, why bother?
There's no need for it, and if you have the patience yourself, you can create uniforms just as good.
The only thing they need to add is licensed models.
Pay a one time Robux cost, use it for free any time after that, or pay 25 robux for an update. (Can be changed in configs, free to 50 robux)
Then, add a rule so that if someone re-uploads a licensed model, they can be hammered.
That way, some builders can actually get money. |

Would you be fine if it was just lowered to like 50
Personally, I think it's a good way to teach all the 9-12 year olds on this site that they can't just buy everything at once, and should manage their money
this encourages saving a bit more, though it is a bit lamely high tbh |
