Roblox doesn't work with my computer anymore and I don't find solutions :( |
|
|
I got that issue too on my Mac, I just restarted my computer and it was fine |
|

roblox only works on some computers, not all. Maybe yours is too old. or maybe something in your computer settings or stuff is wrong. |

Please explain what difficulties you are having while booting up ROBLOX. |
|
|
Did you check your graphics card? That can be the problem, you may need yo get a new graphics card in order to play ROBLOX. Or, maybe you need a new PC.

What was the error message? |
|
|
What computer do you have? |
|

He probably has the same problem as mine. My computer is a Windows XP and it worked fine till 10/3/13. When I try to open a place in edit mode or when I click the 'Play' button it says: "Roblox detected a problem and needs to quit." It doesn't give any detail |

I had the same problem.
1. *Optional* Delete all cookies, and clear caches, preferably with CCleaner
2. Uninstall all programs with ROBLOX in their name from the Control Panel
3. Open up run, and type in %appdata%
4. Up at the top, where it says Roaming, hit the arrow to the left of it, and hit Local
5. Delete the folder labeled ROBLOX
6. Hit the arrow next to AppData and choose LocalLow
7. Delete RbxLogs, and rbxcsettings.rbx
8. *Optional* Run CCleaner, and scan for Registry Issues. Make sure you fix all the ROBLOX related issues.
9. Restart your computer..
10. Install ROBLOX, found at roblox.com/install
You have to close all ROBLOX windows that are open, even if it's just open on a browser. If you don't have CCleaner then just ignore the steps with it. |

Try the following:
- Shut down your computer. (Most of the cases it is just that an error with some programm happened and does not let your roblox work)
- Deactivate your firewall. Sometimes roblox is blocked by your anti-virus firewall. If you dont know what firewall is, call your parents, and tell them.
- PM me with more information about what is happening if none of the above work.

People seem to be treating me like some 8 year old who doesn't know what a Firewall is. Let me clear some things up.
I have an INTEL CORE2 QUAD Q8300 @ 2.50 GHz. Nothing wrong here, even a Dual Pentium E5200 will work on this game. (FYI: I owned a pentium before and played this with it.) Graphics card: AMD Radeon 6750 HD GDDR5 memory. Very good card, runs a lot of games despite the performance being a bit lacky sometimes, I can manage any roblox game at Quality 5 and not lag whatsoever. My system is a SP2 64B Vista(Crap, but it still works) and I have Norton 360. Norton is a total (poot censor here). But its firewall has never had a problem with the game before.
Now, for the issue at hand. When I start up roblox, the following message blocks my game entry: (NOTE: The client does not start, it quits at the "Roblox is updating" or "Server is ready, joining the game" screen, usually with an ad but AdBlocker is ossum.) Translated from dutch: "Roblox no longer works. A problem has occured which is making the program no longer run properly. The program will be closed, and you will be given an alert, once a fix is found." But since it's windows vista and it's a foreign program to IT, a problem is never found and all I can do is close the thing and try again, to no avail.
As a result of this whenever I attempt to uninstall the roblox player it gives me the exact same message, and ROBLOX refuses to uninstall.

Also, I recently ran another CCleaner for my PC. Nothing regarding ROBLOX was found. |

shotsoon - Can you try disabling your adblocker to see if it's possibly interfering with ROBLOX starting correctly? |
|

Turn off firewall or contact [email protected] I had same problem |
