What's the difference between a local script and a script?

I just do not know I know you have to use locals sometimes but I just do not get it...

Okay.. Lets say, we are hackers. We have kohls admin. We would use local to change how the player works. A local script is more like for your player. A normal script is for a brick. For instance, a normal script could not give you armour if it was a script. I hope I helped

LocalScripts run client side, whereas scripts run server side. LocalScripts can access player orientated objects such as their camera, mouse, and PlayerGui however they also only work run in a few places.
