With local fog, I mean that you can only see fog on a specific place.
If you place fog infront of a house, and you are standing infront of the fog (not inside the fog), and the house, you wouldn't able to see the house because of the fog (but you can see anything else that is not standing behind the fog). If you are inside the fog, you cannot see anything around you. (depends on the FogStart and FogEnd).
Fog would be a brick, resizeable, but cannot collide.

This would also make it possible to actually have local fog for each individual player, like one player does see the fog and the other doesn't

With how global shaders are set up, I don't see this ever happening in any game, not even Roblox.
You could create the illusion of local fog if fog was a client side thing, so there's a suggestion. |
