Why bump the thread? The admins already know about this, and it was in a hack-week. |

I support this, but the one thing is that roblox made user meshes illegal to stop inapropriate ones.
still wishing they didn't, then we could have a lot of USER made hats that aren't retextures. |
I support and would appreciate this. |
Yes I do want to support, but the roblox admins are most likely to just ignore this and be adding some update. |

This is exactly what call of robloxia 5 devs desc says.
This is all true.
We need to support him so we wont get as much lag.

Having this feature implemented in the game still would barely change the lag, if any at all.
Meshes infact are laggy themselves, it's just that the size of meshes we're being exposed to by ROBLOX are very small, and constructed out of small amounts of polygons, not monumental amounts.
Take for example the bullet mesh, the one with the funky back. Spam 1000 bricks unanchored with the mesh inside of it, and it will be plentiful more laggy than 1000 regular bricks.
Once again as Samiret stated, hitboxes account for a large amount of lag on regular bricks also. As soon as meshes get solid, and have hitboxes, the amount of lag a mesh creates increases monumentally.
Lastly, ROBLOX might not implement this either way, because it may completely ruin the aspect of the outcome of building with simply bricks, which is the lifeline of ROBLOX and it's success. |
Then explain to me why they're adding the CSG feature? Physics and rendering are the problems here, Roblox is updating their Rendering engine soon so that's not a problem. But instead of calculating the physics for 1000 bricks, it calculates one. As we said for the past 100 times. |

@Razorthreat Have a read of my post on page 51, that should clear up any doubt that you may have about the validity of this feature request. |

Reducing the Server maximum back to 10 means less character appearances to calculate, reducing EVEN more lag. |

I'm in suport of this. I don't see a downside apart from not being able to edit the finished product once it's been changed into a mesh. But even then you could keep the copy of the model in case you need to fix or change somthing... I'm sereously for this, it'd take a large strain off the game engine as well, loading less parts and all... |

definitely a great idea, if they don't think this is a good idea, then it should be like audio and you just pay like 25R$ per mesh if they're really trying to make money off of meshes |
Audio is one thing, But pricing meshes if like pricing every brick you use in your place. or paying for scripts. |
