The Californian town of Kelona Flats was initially a trading post during the Westward expansion of the English Colonies. Once a simple pitstop for traders, journeymen, and aspiring settlers, the town has become a bustling settlement in the Wild West after the end of the Californian Gold Rush. It even has a train station. Right next to a bank owned by a wealthy business man. The Arbor gang, formed in the summer of 1860 near the Nevadan town of Arbor, has been taking outlaws and runaway fugitives from the East and all over North America. News travels slow in the West, and so the gang, led by an outlaw named Benn Hill, have ridden into Kelona Flats. There is a lot of money to be made. ________________________________________________________ WEAPONS: Your character can choose either one two-handed weapon and a secondary weapon; two one-handed weapons and a secondary weapon; two secondary weapons and a one-handed weapon; two specialty weapons and a one-handed weapon; or three specialty weapons. NOTE: These weapons are not permanent, you can pick more up and change them. One-Handed Weapons- Black Powder Revolver: A single-action, black powder revolver with six loaded chambers, it makes a lot of noise and smoke. Tedious to reload with its cap-and-ball system, when you hit your targets, they'll most likely stay down. Peacemaker Revolver: A common single-action revolver, the peacemaker is known to be "the Gun that Won the West." Using metal cartridges as ammunition, it fires six-shots. Enfield Revolver: A break-loading English pistol that holds six shots, the Enfield is a very rare sight to see. Weak compared to the other revolvers, it makes up for it through its fast double-action. Hatchet/Tomahawk: First seen in use by Aboriginal people in the French and Indian Wars, the Tomahawk or Hatchet is a fast and deadly axe weapon for those who can use it properly. Bowie Knife: A popular survival knife on the New Frontier, people praise it for its practical and less practical uses. Two-handed Weapons- Lever-action Rifle: A fifteen round repeater rifle with a lever-action feeding mechanism, this gun and its ammunition are easy to find all across California. Coach Gun- Also known as the double-barreled shotgun, this shotgun fires twelve gauge shells from two parallel barrels on the weapon. It is known as the Coach Gun because it is common among stagecoach drivers. Sharps Carbine: A single-shot, falling block US carbine, the Sharps rifle is a good choice for long-range and accurate shooters. Though not as fast as its other counterparts, the Sharps is deadly in the right hands and can be fixed with a telescopic sight. Secondary Weapons- Derringer: A very small pocket pistol that fires two small bullets from a pair of vertical barrels, it is the ultimate concealed firearm of its time. Extremely easy to hide and very functional in close-quarters, its time to pierce some hearts, if you know what I mean. Shank: Stab stab stab! Good for bar-fights, stick-ups, and drunken muggings, the shank is your homemade concealed dagger for all your criminal intentions. Just make sure your victims don't have guns on them. Dynamite(x2): Patented by a Swedish man far across the ocean, this highly explosive stick of problem-solver has just made it to the New Frontier. Just make sure you throw it far enough so it doesn't kill you. Fire-bottle (x3): A fairly manageable bottle of alcohol plugged with a cloth wick, it will light up the target you desire if you can throw it properly. Best used for ambushes. Not recommended in room-to-room combat, unless you want to set yourself on fire. ________________________________________________________ RULES Use common sense All plot events and important npc instances are controlled by me unless specified. Follow the weapon limits We start in a private room in the Kelona Saloon during the day, plotting our attack on the bank. ________________________________________________________ CHARACTER SHEET Name: Age: Gender: Physical Appearance: Clothing: Reason for joining the Arbor Gang: (You may reveal any biography in the RP)

Name: Dural Montauk (Often referred to as Mr. Montauk) Age: 34 Gender: Male Physical Appearance: Montauk’s physical features are unidentifiable due to the nature of his clothing, though it is obvious he has a fairly large build. He is Metis; a mix of aboriginal and European. His features are striking but not exactly handsome due to multiple scars aligning his left cheek, and due to his signs of age. His brown eyes always bring on feelings of relaxation upon anyone that stares into them. He has a large nose, with age lines near the bridge. His pitch black hair is cut at shoulder length, commonly in a ponytail. He’s rarely seen without a warm smile. Clothing: A large poncho, along with faded blue jeans and a pair of boots. A floppy sombrero adorns his head, the brim commonly covering his eyes from a distance away. A tomahawk rests inside a makeshift sheath on his belt, a Peacemaker on the opposite side, though his poncho is about large enough to suggest that he hides something else. Reason for joining the Arbor Gang: If asked, he will always say he is in it simply for two things. “The money and the thrill… mostly the money.” However, it has been hinted at that he bears ill feelings towards the banker.

CHARACTER SHEET Name: Abraham Locke Age: 24 Gender: Male Physical Appearance: [generic appearance] Clothing: [generic western clothing] Reason for joining the Arbor Gang: Quite simply put, Locke lacked money, and had a very specific skill set. He proceeded to find Mr. Hill, put two and two together, and viola, he became a eagle-eyed sharpshooter working for money. "Common sense? What's that?"

(accepted, i guess any others that wish to join can join, ill add you into the scene if we have gone past the saloon table.) The gun-filled table in the private room was silent, each member of the Arbor Gang awaiting the return of Benn Hill. A bright beam of light spread the shadow of the casement window across the left side of the floor, little bits of dust dancing in its yellow glow. The soles of boots knocked on the scratched planks of the for, nearing the doorway. Soon, everyone was looking at Benn Hill, his stooped figure leaning upon the slender barrel of a lever-action repeater.

"You're late, honey," came Abraham's snide reply, "Take a seat, your dinner is getting cold." He put his feet up on the table, his Sharps combine he had dubbed "Lacky," sat neatly on his lap. "Common sense? What's that?"

"Cut the crap, Abe." Benn said as he walked in and took a seat. "The Sheriff has his men on alert. He doesn't like the look of over three masked riders, all heavily armed, comin' into town in bandannas and masks. Guess he's right to be worried."

Abraham grinned the mischievous, daring smile he always took when mentions of a challenge reached his ears. He sat upright, his gun now resting on the table. "How good are these men we're talking about?" "Common sense? What's that?"

Benn snorted, spitting on the floor. "Pretty sure they're ranchers, like me. Repeaters and shabby ammunition, but they're good shots, trust me."

"I wasn't talking about their skill, I was talking about how well they acted as bullet practice. Guess it doesn't hurt to know they pack a punch, either," replied Abraham, his smirk ever-growing. "Common sense? What's that?"

"Whatever you say, Abe, don't go crawling to me when your riddled with bullets." Benn retorted lightheartedly. "Right, let's get down to business. "We have two options, one under the cover of night and one under the light of day. First option is to wait for the daily train after we rob the bank this very noon. We don't have much time and the whole place'll be armed, but if we get it pulling out soon a steam engine can outrun the fastest horse. This one goes for the Mexican border. Second, we rob the bank under the cover of night and take our horses outta town. It's not that fast and more people'll probably be left behind if anyone'a'ya get shot, but there are less guards to deal with and less trouble't'be stirred."
