Demolition Hammer, while they are more Death/Thrash than plain Death, their second album is absolutely amazing Also: Bolt Thrower Unleashed Atheist Pestilence Autopsy Dismember Deeds of Flesh Cynic Suffocation Bloodbath Luciferion If you're looking for death metal that's accessible and not as hard to get into, try: Children of Bodom (first three albums) Kalmah Ensiferum Wintersun (their first album is good, their second album is really overrated but it's not horrible)

Not really Death metal but I like thrash metal and a few death metal bands... Try Motionless in White - D e vil's night. not really death metal though...

If we're talking brutal death, DEFEATED SANITY. Otherwise, go with melodeath bands like Amon Amarth, Dethklok, or Kalmah. You should really check out Kalmah.
