Winnipeg was never really in this game, as the Oilers struck for two in the second and third both. This led to a opening win for the Oilers and an opening loss for the Jets.

It began with two straight Toronto goals, followed by one that put Montreal back in this one. However, late in the game, the Leafs struck for an empty net goal to end this game 3-1, even though the Canadiens got one goal closer to make it 3-2.

I guess I just won't post full standings anymore, but I will give you updates on like highest amount of points and such, since I haven't sent any updates in for about an hour and a half...
Buffalo leads the league so far with 4 points, but only a few teams have played their second games. As we get into these next few games, the final two teams will play their first (Columbus and NY Islanders) and at the same time will be some teams that are playing twice (Nashville and Colorado playing now, both 1-0-0, one will be 2-0-0) |
