Didn't read it. But I scroll slowly and saw Texas atleast 5 times.

It basically mentions how Baylor and OKST have overtaken Texas and Oklahoma for good in the conference, and basically disses the Longhorn and Sooner football programs (even though I hate the Sooners I'm going to help 'em out here) even though Baylor and Oklahoma State have accomplished literally nothing compared to UT and OU.

Wow No team ever takes a conference for good. College is an up and down game, one year you are good. The next you may go 5-7.

The only team I have seen stand the longest is the Florida Gators. (Around 20 years.) But it looks like they are now dropping again

Texas did fairly okay to very well under Mack Brown's first 12 years at Texas, but these last 4 have been rough.

And Oklahoma has been constantly going to a BCS bowl or some bowl of significance the last few years.

This year the Bears and Cowboys are good in the Big XII. The Sooners and Horns just aren't good this year. I still believe that Texas has fallen off a ton since Colt left. Same with OU since Bradford left. Baylor and OK State are on the rise, while UT and OU are on the decline. It's just the natural cycle of NCAAF sometimes.

"Same with OU since Bradford left." Nah, when they had Landry Jones - including last year and the year before - they reached double-digit win counts. This season they may do the same again. If not, they'll get 9 wins. "Baylor and OK State are on the rise, while UT and OU are on the decline. It's just the natural cycle of NCAAF sometimes." That's just not right though. I don't know how to explain it, but it's not right.

Exactly. Every team drops and then rises again. Look at the OTHER UT (Tennessee) These last few years have been rough. Real rough, even now we are 4-6. But we look different, we don't quit. We have a new team that just needs talent, which is coming especially since we will most likely finish with a top 5 class this year. In 2-3 years we will be contending for the SEC title again.

@camo You're going to finish 6-6 though... That's better than Texas was in '10...

You would be surprised by how many Tennessee fans are scared of Vandy right now. I think we will be able to win out though, just making a point of how every team has down years.

It's the cycle of college football. Trends.. Schools go through their ups and downs. Remember when Baylor was the crap of the Big 12? Yeah, now they're at the top. How about USC? Everyone thought they were great. Now they're just kind of good. #23 in the polls.
