how are you going to stop a criminal*
*criminal - one who has a gun |

And even if he did have a gun the police have guns.
And now crazy people who would use guns and become criminals can't because gun laws. |

umm it isn't hard to get a hold of a gun and put it to a negative use bro
because anybody can get a hold of a gun w/o a permit.

why should the government have better firepower than the citizens
why should the government be taking away our freedom to bear arms
and you know that even with stricter gun laws, robberies still happen and mass-murders still happen
let me give you another scenario:
in a star wars movie,
a main character (who has the good guy), got out his lightsaber and killed multiple jedis in training
who did they blame it on?
the main character
not the weapon.
