Believe me, so am I. I recently e-mailed Roblox about a solution I had for a bad experience me and, possibly the entire community of Roblox, is having. You better be honest; there's not ONE SINGLE game you can visit without a player calling you a "noob" or some kind of name that leads to a verbal fight. Sometimes they're easy to deal with, depending on the person you're arguing with, but it can also get really out of hand. Anyway, the answer they gave me was a bit "lazy", like they didn't want to follow by my solution. In fact they told me to report abuse on the person I'm arguing with. However, that doesn't really get anyone out of the argument, most likely it can make it worse. They told me to post my solution here, so that's what I guess I'll do. What if there was an in-game chat disable option? Not the whole chat in general, but one that disables the chat only for the player that activates it. Now now, before you comment "Safe Chat blocks off normal chat messages", there's a flaw in that. Notice how I said IN-GAME option. The only way you can activate Safe Chat is through the website, which forces me to leave the game and go back in. I don't want to "rage quit" a game every time I get in an argument, because I went to the game for a good reason. An in-game option will be much easier and would really help the ones who have trouble ignoring players who fight with them. So, do any of you agree with me? Because I know this happens to you, as it happens to everyone. Please, reply to this post and share your thoughts. Just one last reminder, disagreeing is foolish, because like I said about three times, this happens to EVERY PLAYER. And I know it happens to you.

If someone insults you via an online game, it's probably best to ignore it. Think about it: do you really care what someone you don't even know who's probably several years younger than you says about you? Also by ignoring them, you don't escalate the conflict. In a game like Roblox, that's reasonable easy to do. That being said, support. Solution to ticket inflation: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=120397147

support, should also come with the widely suggested "ignore feature" that will make just one players chat invisible to you.

Despite what everyone else seems to think, I believe your idea of a chat blocking option is great. I mean even though you can get banned for swearing or even if you use asterisks there are still little kids who use this site that will become tainted. This chat blocking can be optional where a parent can login and enable this. Also for those 13+,although I find the arguments on roblox somewhat amusing, I can see where that can get quite annoying for others and should be allowed to block chat themselves. Thanks for posting this and sorry if my added idea is something you're not interesting

This would be good for people who can be easily upset and find it difficult to ignore bullies. Support!

I really appreciate everyone agreeing with me. And, it is true that ignoring is easy, but the chat is very visible on a computer screen and it is a bit more difficult than in outside world. That being said, I hope this engages into development.

"there's not ONE SINGLE game you can visit without a player calling you a "noob" or some kind of name that leads to a verbal fight. " I can honestly say that there are several games like this. Popular ones? No. But do they exist? Yes. ~>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTQXOHkvUS4<~

Stop being a noob. People can't call you one. Unless they are better than you. so get better than them. Then call them a noob.

See, you're just like everyone else. I'm only being called a noob because I have better skill in sword fighting than several people, and they want to start a fight because "the sword I use doesn't even require skill". And, to be honest, I'm actually called a noob for a lot of things, but it doesn't concern me being new. I've been here since 2009 (My first account was "grapesoda123", stupid name I know), so there is no reason to call me a "noob".

Support. I've been called a noob just because I said "The games inside Roblox are minigames because Roblox is a Virtual world and Virtual World are games." So many idiots find it as as way of an excuse to argue.
