Changing Grid Size

Can someone tell me how to do this because I cant build on circular parts because it doesnt fit perfectly, looks very sloppy. I heard that changing the grid size can fix that, can someone help me please?

You can actually do that? Its very annoying with the grid thingy. its very hard to build now a days :/
