Places which are within a universe you create have to be _ACTIVE_ places that you personally own, therefore this feature wouldn't be that worthwhile due to the cap that you would reach (which removes the justification that could be given regarding "own building worlds", etc). |

@Quorum, You're half right on this. Yes, each place in the universe will be a seprate place BUT the places don't have to be active to be used in the universe. You just need one main active place that you could use to teleport to your other places wich can either be active or unactive. In the Holiday LIVESTRAVAGANZA #4, they mention this at about 8:30 (What it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgyagCJKfFQ&feature=c4-overview-vl&list=PLuEQ5BB-Z1PJbI9xxdSNwZ5-ZFd7wI6aB).
So since you can have unlimited unactive places, there should still be an API to create a place and either make it active (if you have enough slots) or keep it unactive. Period. |

I formed my opinion on my current use of Universes (since I've got early access). However, my point still stands; this wouldn't be much use simply due to the constraints which have been put in place in terms of the amount of places that you can own at any one time (which is further constrained by your membership type).
Whilst it may be nice, for example, to create a place which then allows each player to create their own building domain, it wouldn't be realistic as you wouldn't have enough places to accomodate this.
Also, you can't have unlimited inactive places. You can only own as many as your current membership allows (unless of course it expires, and you then have 95 inactive places (OBC)). |

@Quorum, I've never had BC and I have about 10 places total (1 active and 9 inactive) and that's because I used a glitch back when those contests still existed. I do see one downside to this though; BC allows for more than one active place but with universes and the ablity to create an unlimited amount of unactive places, developers would only need one active place to make all their other unactive games playable. |

Again, you cannot create an unlimited amount of inactive places. You're still confined to the amount you can create based on your BC type, minus any exploits you've found in the site's coding.

@Data, I understand now. The reason this would be great though is that because then we, developers, could make it possible for players to create their own servers (For example, in Black Ops 2 your able to create a server and set the rules for it then people can join it).
PS. I didn't exploit the site's coding to achive that amount of places. When you join a place contest, it creates an extra place for you and then when you leave the place still exists. Then you just repeat this all over until your satisfied with the amount of places you have. |

NBC= can create 100 places with 1-5-10-??-100 active.
BC=Can create 100 places with 10-??-100 active
TBC=can create 100 places with ??-100 active
OBC=can create 100 places with 100 active. Simple. |
