It IS chinese, but it's chinese pronounciation letters of the alphabet. Well, if you change each letter into the closest sounding english letter, well...put it this way... ㄏ=h ㄜ=e ㄌ=l ㄛ=e - well..there are 2 letters that sound close to "E" in the chinese language... Anyway, "ㄏㄜㄌㄌㄛ" is total chinese word gibberish. Compare it this way, you can't create an english word with "fractions" of letters. Well... sorry, it IS rather hard to explain without misleading anyone...

Chinese has a phonetic side of their alphabet? ._. Huh. I figured it was all simplified pictographs.
