Name: Timothy Green Age before integration: [Redacted] Physical appearance before integration: [Redacted] Avatar appearance: A bright light that seems as if it takes the form of a silhouette of a man Ethereal Codes: Good, Complex Occupation: Cyber police Current assignment: Scout out suspect servers for incriminating information. Home server: usn.ccd.gov (Cyber Crime Department) Scripts: Server scan(Scans servers for basic information); File information(Gives detailed information about files and records); Government kit(attack/defense scripts); "Shocker" shutdown script(used to disable servers, programs, or even other Ethereals after they have been weakened enough by attack scripts) Misc. programs: CCD government pass(Instant access to most government servers); "Ghost" newlink program(teleports you back to your home server, but takes a large amount of cycles) You start in the Ethereal-dedicated section of your home server, specifically in the primary hub. In your USNL-Ethereal-view, the exit is straight in front of you, the commons area(or lounge as it's sometimes called) is to your left, and the government netlink is to your right. (To avoid confusion, everything that Ethereals see is translated into something that regular humans can grasp, instead of the raw data that it really is. Unlike regular human life however, Ethereals have the option to choose varying degrees of reminiscence with their former lives. If you so choose, it is possible to not feel pain, hunger, tiredness, emotions, or most other things regular humans feel.)

First, I check my memory banks. What servers have been blacklisted as "Cypercop Timothy Green needs to monitor", which Etherals I tend to see often, and so on and so forth. I know that I know these things, but it's always good to occasionally double-check your memory bank, right? Oh, and how long I've been an Ethereal for. Also, I decide not to feel pain, hunger, thirst, tiredness and to make myself more focused by removing anything that resembles ADD from my mind, if I haven't already done so. The Bannanachair-versus-titanchair war begins!

Your target servers are usn.hydra.corp, usn.gerpower.db, usn.allben.corp, and usn.cremall.corp. Ethereals you see often are your special coworker Michael Gramm, the blob lady who's name you never learned who seems to sit around at an ethereal desk all day, and the usual assortment of Ethereals who spend their free time at CCD like you do sometimes. You have been an Ethereal for 1 year, 6 months, 4 days, 14 hours, 42 minutes, and 17 seconds. You made those decisions on what to and what not to feel in the past, though they can be changed at any time. Your thoughts are utterly focused, which helps you do your job immensely. On the downside though, you have no idea what your mental conditions are at any time, and you usually have to manually check for minor damage instead of feeling it. You can, of course, always feel major damage in some way or another.

Good. Now, am I on free time, or do I have a job to do? The Bannanachair-versus-titanchair war begins!

You have about ten minutes before your official workday begins.

Then I might as well wait out the ten minutes. The Bannanachair-versus-titanchair war begins!

No exploring? Alrighty then. You "hear" and "see" "Timothy Green NOW ON ACTIVE DUTY" from wherever they send them. Automated messages have no sound control, which makes the darned things really, really annoying.

You are now on duty. Time to head out and explore the net. Your first scout target is officially Hydra, but you can begin with any of the servers on your list.

I'll investigate Hydra. The Bannanachair-versus-titanchair war begins!

Slinking up to the Hydra entrance, you can see the company logo displayed out front. The doorway is directly in front of you. (This is where you can use the Server Scan script. The Server Scan is like a probe that gives you some limited sight of what is inside, but it is almost 100 percent undetectable. Additionally, any file packet you find using the scanner you can find more information about using the File Information script.)

The probe heads in, invisible to all but the most sophisticated of scanners and detection equipment. The probe is in the INDEX. Links: 1: INDEX(reload page) 2: EMPLOYEE AREA(Pa$$word protection detected) 3: PUBLIC RECORDS(File storage-unprotected) 4: NEWS/MEDIA(Public releases by the company and such) 5: ADMINISTRATOR ACCESS(Probes cannot access admin panels)

I'll check 3 and 4 first. Anything suspicious or inconstant that pops up I'll look at more closely later. The Bannanachair-versus-titanchair war begins!

The public records section checks out, all the files are labeled in a standard format, though you can use your File Information script to look at individual files. The news section checks out as well, nothing really suspicious. It's all to be expected, because very few people would be stupid enough to put suspicious files or releases out for the public. (If you didn't know yet, the Server Scan can go around most security checkpoints completely, because the security can't see it and therefore can't stop it. You are informed of security you may encounter if you went in yourself, but the probe isn't stopped by it.)
