Because you're putting yourself up on the spotlight when you're advertising your own creation here. There's no reason for us to prove we've done better.

"Because you're putting yourself up on the spotlight when you're advertising your own creation here. There's no reason for us to prove we've done better. " Well, you really don't have any grounds to criticize without proof of something better, no? How is the original creator of the thread supposed to believe what he made is as bad as you state without seeing something to compare it to, to make it better? Don't get me wrong, I think constructive criticism is great, but when you're just putting something down because you can, that's kind of pointless IMO...

With all of the negative comments, it would be smart to redesign your GUI, Rein

@AbsoluteLOL: I wasn't complaining about anyone's designs in particular, I was just suggesting that, if you were to provide criticism, you might want to consider giving examples of what is wrong with it and how to fix it, instead of: "You need to go back to GUI Design School." :P (Btw, I did like some of the Gui designs on Red, the start Gui on RED seemed somewhat primitive compared to the rest of the GUIs in the game though. Also, you may want to consider pre-loading your assets? (Sounds/Decals) Your main-menu music failed to play for me the first time I loaded in, but I heard it play once I respawned.)

1) The initial menu isn't supposed to be fancy. It's short, sweet, and to the point: click to play 2) Assets are preloaded both server and client side. However, ContentProvider doesn't always ::Preload() correctly. You should know this. 3) I'm not even going to continue. You missed the point by miles.

"I'm not even going to continue. You missed the point by miles." You take criticism really harshly... I didn't mean it that negatively, I was trying to provide some helpful insight of what I thought of your Guis. The Scripter's forum is slightly defensive, no?

'Well, you really don't have any grounds to criticize without proof of something better, no?' By this logic, I cannot report bugs in Windows since I can't make an operating system of its complexity. Alrighty then.

I'm not talking about your criticism. Also, let me rephrase that: you missed the point by light years, and still are missing it.

So what is SafeGuard supposed to be? Some sort of monitoring system?
