What this would be is: Some threads are troll threads or just plain stupid, what you would do is click on the thread, and then at the you there would be a button that would say 'Ignore'. You would press that, and it would take you back to the forum page, but the thread you clicked 'Ignore' on, would be gone. There would also be a tab on the top that says 'Ignored Threads' and you could make them visible again just in case you accidentally ignored a thread.' This would be helpful if someone makes a thread that stretches the forum also. But shoot me down.

How about just block users?

This would block certain threads made by users. The button could also be called 'Hide' hi

I'm assuming this is going to be moderated, because that'd hurt S&I in quite a few ways, including someone blocking anyone who goes to lengths into trying to bring down a post, which is vital.

So.. You'd just hide one thread? Couldn't you just ignore it? Maybe it should ignore all threads by that user.

@Fatdoggy That's pointless, just report it and move on.

No support. Everyone has the right to speak their mind. You may have problems if you just can't ignore 1 thread. --[ Buffalonian ]--

It doesn't have to be against the rules if it's stupid, it could be like almost all of that Daniel guy's threads, except for maybe it's just one bad idea, and then th make a good idea.

If you can't handle a thread you just simply don't like, then I don't think you're mature enough for the forums.

@Buff, maybe i want to get rid of the threads I either don't want to see anymore because I've seen a bunch of times, read already, or they're bad.

They will be deleted anyway if they are a re-post. And you need to learn the concept of 'Ignoring' or you should just leave the forums. --[ Buffalonian ]--

Just because I have the idea to block threads I can't handle the forums?

I ignore threads already, it would just be nice to be able to hide them and see more threads I might be interested in.
