NO. Hey, wise guy! I can't play a certain game because I'm under 13! MARVELOUS not

First off, it's for "Certain" games. It's ridiculous how many underage kids are playing bad games. It's bad enough kids that are 10 or younger are playing GTA V. Most kids on this are immature, so an age blocker would be great.

There is no such thing as a "bad" game. Especially Grand Theft Auto, where the entire message of the game is "We shouldn't be doing this, it's wrong."

GTA is probably a horrible game for kids. I play GTA often, and I never got the message "We shouldn't be doing this, it's wrong." Seeming it has the name based on a crime, "Grand Theft Auto" - Stealing Vehicles. Literally, that game was even sued for being proclaim as a cop killer simulator.

This would allow builders to make more mature games while adhering to Roblox's rules. -RTM Commander

Hey, I'm a British person, so you can stop with the hate, if you don't mind. Immature. Anyway, I support this. There's no way to stop lying kids, but it's better than doing nothing about the problem.

FREAKING IDIOTS People would randomly make their games 13+ because they think "little kids are annoying".

Kids wouldn't be able to play most games. I swear, if anybody finds out that this feature gets released, 99% of the games will be 13+. Apoc Rising. Not a fan of it myself, but if I wanted to, could I? NOPE

Roblox needs to come to grip with the reality of things. In terms of who really contributes to Roblox (ie people who make clothing, places, etc. that are worth buying/playing) are teenagers. Roblox needs to learn this and stop going for the 6-8 age range. If all the teens (13+) quit right this very second, Roblox would be in shambles. It would go under, as would the community. Roblox needs to start representing our maturity level, or at the very least ease up on the rules. -LordReliant

It's a pretty good idea, but it would only make people younger than 13 more restricted than they already are. I think that instead of stopping them from playing, the creator can make a special warning saying that the game is not appropriate for younger players. That way, the younger players can choose if they want to risk playing a game like that or find something else. If they have a parent monitoring their account, they can get their parent's opinion. Now, if the parent gives the thumbs up, the kid can play it. If they were blocked from playing it at all and the parent were to say OK, they still wouldn't be able to play it because of their age. -Roy G. Biv

@blue Lel, that stereotype is old. @2 above Dude, kids have the right to play Roblox. Also, counterargument: Most kids persuade their parents to buy BC. If the kids quit, no parents will be buying BC.

Profit wise, yes they contribute. Society wise, no. A bunch of little kids means immaturity and trolling. This turns away would be Robloxians. No one wants to play a game with a bunch of immature children, look where Minecraft is going. Do we really want to be like that? If Roblox were to market to a more mature audience, we would get better games, more customers, and the kids who are mature enough to stay will stay. Right now you get punished for the stupidest of stuff. Saying a few curse words that people say on a daily basis or ODing, yet, you don't get punished for cyberstalking or trolling people. Roblox has so much more potential. It is wasting its time on marketing to little kids. This could become a teenager's version of Second Life mixed with G-Mod. -LordReliant
