I got a Surface RT for Christmas a while ago, and I was devastated to find out that I had to actually download things ONLY from the windows store.
This windows store has almost literally nothing I want.
I have only used a piano app a few times and that's it.
The only thing that will cure my boredom, is playing ROBLOX.
Not only will ROBLOX help me with boredom, but also help me with some issues I've been having lately.
And I am sure many other Surface users want to see ROBLOX in the windows store as well. This will help the community greatly and it may even give ROBLOX some more popularity.
Roblox wouldn't look any different than it is now on the surface, either. A lot of graphics can be bumped into this device.
The only thing I'm worried about if this happens, will ROBLOX be pay to play, like it is on Google Play? |

I really want the mods to see this. |

You don't know that for sure, though. |

Trust me, won't be considered for a while
Ipad/iOS is STILL being perfected with the game, and other consoles that have been suggested are:
-PS3
-PS4
-Xbox360
-Xbox One
-Wii
-Wii U
-PSP
-Nintendo Handhelds
-Android Devices
-Steam Console
-Linux/Unix
-Windows Store (Your the first)
and possibly many more in the future.
It's going to be a while until ROBLOX catches up. |

Forgive me I said 'your' instead of 'you're'. |

Haven't Android devices already been done?
Also, sure, you may have an android or iOS, but that doesn't mean that everybody else does. You would probably want this if all you had was a Surface too, right? |

For the year of 2013, here are the official statistics for OS used in Mobile devices:
Android: 57.9%
iOS: 23.1%
Microsoft: 10.4%
RIM: 4.3%
Symbian: 1.2%
Bada: 3.0%

I've met people with the Surface and whenever I brang up the windows store, they always said that they wanted Google Play or something instead. Since a lot of people already like ROBLOX, adding it to the store would make many people with that device happy. |
|
|
The sales may be low now, but its a new year. Each day more people will buy it.
Not just that, but if my request is fulfilled, maybe the total sales will boost. |

Although iOS is known for more stable apps, I think it was absolutely terrible that ROBLOX started with iOS rather than android, since android dominates the market due it's wide variety of phones that use that OS.
Surface is emerging, but the new OS from Microsoft is HATED by developers.
I remember exactly why, but I can give you a good opinion since I have Windows 8 Pro on my desktop.
I used to have Windows 7 Pro, but I lost it when I had to transfer a new OS onto a brand new SSD. I only had a copy of W8Pro, so I ended up installing it.
Windows did not do well with it's surface OS and Windows 8 as most of us thought.

I dislike the surface as well.
The thought of removing the ability to download and having to get apps from a Windows store is absurd. The windows store has pretty much nothing I and others I've met, want to use.
I think at least adding one popular game will bring Joy to the many disappointed Surface users. |

The Google Play ROBLOX Player isn't made by ROBLOX. It's a knock-off version. Don't buy it.
And the reason this will not happen in close future:
Android ROBLOX is first priority. Windows Store is very new, and more people have Android. ROBLOX will be looking to get an Android app before Windows Store.
And Windows Store has nothing because it's only a few months old. Sorry.

You have to remember, the Surface is a new device, it might take a while for purchases to go up. Especially when it is greatly frowned apon. |
|

Oh, its a knock off? Oh god, thanks for warning me.
I was about to buy it..
And you're right about how the Windows store is almost empty.
I'm more concerned about if this idea is actually being considered.
If its not actually executed in a while, that will be fine.
I just want it to be considered or planned. |

In my opinion, it took this long for an iOS app, which is still being perfected. Once it's finally done, they will move on to Android. This will probably happen within a year. And it'll take a few months to perfect that.
You probably won't see a Windows Store app until 2015 at earliest, 2018 latest. If ROBLOX is still around.

So again, to simplify it a little more..
I want to know if this idea is being planned or even considered. |
