Aloeseth looks down a little sheepishly. "I- er... I spoke only of the Men of Northern Cormyr, m'lady. My father raised old secrets and returned his horsemen to their former glory, and all the Earldom followed suit, but none of them can beat one of your Saoritin," he explains, trying to look her in the eye once more.

Shaya looks at him and chuckles. "Anyone can be beaten if you know the way to do it," she says.

Aloeseth looks back at her. "None of them know how to do it. Strength they have, aye, but humility? Nay, my Lady, they follow only their liege lord and will admit weakness to none other. The Knights will dismount from their horses to fight Elven men the 'fair' way, considering few Elves use horses save for the armies of Valdemar," the Ice Elf responds.

Eve huffs. "Eve need weaknesses in your bodily form."

She chuckles. "We don't use horses because we don't need them. Ah well."

"That I know, m'lady. My father knew of all the military strengths and weaknesses of the Kingdoms of Elves and Men, and he tutored me and my brother that we might make good commanders one day. He said your foot are the greatest to walk the land in hundreds of years, and for that reason you have no horse. Is that so?" Aloeseth finishes, feeling a bit of pride in his father's military competence.

Eve hangs upside down off of the grain. "Yes, weakness... Your were pretty lousy when we first met." She teases, in her sing song voice.

((My idea of the combat strengths: Valdemar- Massive budget and fertile lands which result in the ability to field large armies and provide ample food for a good while. Drow- Relatively advanced technology and elite troops, as well as a political, military, and physical climate similar to the inland parts of the Iron Islands which result in militant people with the ability to field much of its population. Saoritin- Naturally elite and devout footmen who have no farming or herding to do, resulting in most of their population being ready to take up arms. Verratir- Great budget from trade, naturally talented sailors for naval combat as well as fertile mainlands similar to Greece, resulting in large fleets for invasions and determined footmen for extra defense. Idoweic- Rough climate creates hardened soldiers which already have physical talents, and feudal lordships that are better suited for raising armies than a single unchallenged monarchy, providing good sized forces (considering the terrain) of elite footmen and commanders to lead their sectional forces. Eirini- Abundant tall trees that provide food and natural training ground for legendary archers, resulting in good sized forces of mostly ranged units. I probably have a lot of this wrong, but just tell me if so.))

Aloeseth comes up with what he considers a brilliant way to piss Eve off. "Is this your way of courting someone?" he questions the Cold One, giving her a raised eyebrow. ((NOTE: By 'Court' he means 'Flirt'.))

"I was 100 years old. Cut me some slack." The blade growls. (Ummm, the Verratir footmen are par for elven races. Well they were. Verratir have a natural ability for all naval combat. The Drow rarely field in army, as a race of thieves and Assassins. That's the only two things I noticed. Oh, that and the Ereni are mostly wiped out too.) Aquiras shifts on his feet nervously.

(Humans don't really matter. They reproduce within a hundred years. Elves take forever to recov- We're all doomed. The Drow and Valdemar simply need to team up, and take over everything now.)
