Why can't we put a rating on games kinda like an ESRB rating. 13+ games and games for everyone. You can put a rating on yourself and if mods don't think you have an appropriate rating they can make it 13+, or people can report that it has a bad rating and mods can then change it.
This would allow for more mature content in game. The ESRB rating for teens allows for violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling and/or infrequent use of strong language (http://www.esrb.org/ratings/ratings_guide.jsp). I'm saying that it would be the same rules for Roblox, but it could be a little similar.
Then if Roblox ever released a single player game mode it would allow for us to get the player more emotionally attached and feel like a great story based game. Simple rules being that anyone under the age of 13 will not be allowed to make a 13+ rated game or play 13+ games.
This isn't a complete thought and will take a lot more thought and stricter rules to make possible. This will also make Roblox look a lot more appealing to parents who like to watch what their kids play. Thank you for reading. |
