A jolt come into my head. I hate him for reminding me. Reminding me of that day that is burned into my head. "Very well," I respond. "Your first mission,' he held up a piece of paper with a girl on it. "Eliminate her." |

The big counter of bags stands close in front of me. I kinda run towards it, and drag my jacket on. I take another sip of my coffee, refreshed. My bag comes onto my shoulder.
"Scarlett!" I hear, and see the News Anchor, Jeff Wild, Walk over to me. He looks so fake. Obviously some surgery, and make up. "I need to speak to you over here." He says, smiling and pointing to the sign saying- EMPLOYEES ONLY. |

I follow Jeff in the room full of tables, coffee, and donuts.
"So Scarlett, We need someone to fill in for me while I'm on vacation. I'll be gone for 2 weeks, so you're my substitute." I get a leap of excitement, until he puts his wrinkly finger on my nose. "But don't think you're getting my job now." I'm so speechless, and happy. " Thank you, Jeff! " I smile, and awkwardly hug him. This is my dream come true. And hey, I didn't use my powers this time. I really earned it.

After being let go, and sent home, I do a little dance in the street. I get in my car, but soon see a man. He looks sad, and homeless. This is just what I'm in the mood for. Suddenly, after I speak to him through his mind, he gets up from the ground, and has a big gigantic smile on his face, walking around, and getting in a store. I grin, and drive home.

I tracked down the target's name: Jenny Muglig. Interesting. I went to the office where she worked. Easy. I stepped into the elevator, and planted a bomb in the wall. I wold round up the innocents, and blow up Jenny, but it didn't work that way. Two men spotted me.
"What you doin?" One shouted at me. I couldn't blow my cover. I rushed into the next elevator. This mission would have to be attempted later. The two men followed me still. And then they started breaking into a chase when I started to run. |
