So, I am in the process of making a really good novel. It has a lot of characters and really draws the attention of a reader.
Q. What's it about?
A. There is an elf by the name of Viton Rilson who lives by a riverbank of a small town. There is a picking of ten people from the five towns of Feion (small country). Viton unfortunately is one of them, but he learns he belongs to this kind of life, and he learns his importance and how much the journey needs him.
Q. How much have you wrote?
A. I have almost six chapters. Each chapter is around 4-7 pages in a book, or 1 and one third to three pages on a typing program on the computer.
The following is a piece taken out of the first chapter:
Viton wakes up to hear the sound of a trumpet. He gets out of bed, puts on his clothes, his jacket, and his shoes, and he walks outside to see a muscular dwarf on a pony. His neighbors look as confused as he is. He is just about to ask what is going on, when he turns around to see the whole town to be standing there, looking at this dwarf. He stands still, while the dwarf finishes his blowing.
... This is right before Viton is picked for the journey.
