@gleaming steins;gate is actually rated 17+ for "citing blood, language, partial nudity, se.,xual themes, and violence" lol. i was surprised too i'd assume baccano is 17+ there's no way mushishi is 17+. the most extreme thing that happens is that one eye mushi, except for that there's nothing really questionable fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood isn't 17+, but i hear it's pretty dark and stuff not sure about serial experiments lain but i think it is 17+ not sure about tengen toppa gurren lagann bakemonogatari probably would be considered 17+, though it's arguable

bakemonogatari has some kinda adult stuff (remember when araragi was in the car with senjogahara) kanbaru's fight was pretty brutal too mushishi definitely isnt 17+ i wouldn't consider SEL to be 17+ really fma:b has graphic things, but the most you see is deformed results of human transmutation it has dark themes but there's nothing too bad gurren lagann is iffy it has partial nu,dity and all that but i dont think theres any graphic violence

the thing about bakemonogatari is that the company that publishes it (or is an associate, not exactly sure which) also published stuff like attack on titan, aku no hana, shin sekai yori, and kamisama no iutoori, all of which you'd think would be 17+ but are considered shounen
