For god's sake, roblox, quit throwing all your money on OBC'ers!
Quit making NBC lower than they already are just to throw away more money!
DevEx encourages people to be greedy and selfish like roblox, by squeezing every last bit of money out of their players.
I cant imagine what kind of games people will make when they're older.
That money should go to people with true potential for game making and need it most. This is just my opinion, don't flame me for this.
It also draws in teenagers to roblox, who: 1. Are sometimes obnoxious and think too highly of themselves. 2. Online date. 3. Exploit(its getting better atleast). 4. Constantly troll on just about everything, everywhere. 5. Take every ounce of blox out of roblox; making ridiculously complex, high class games, which we don't need, because this is roBLOX, not roREALISM. If you want realism, go play a different site or go play what average teenagers play all day, what is it, call of duty?
its a diabolical chain of events all because of DevEx.
Lowering it is a start to solving just about every problem, including price floor.
This used to be a kids site, and that fundamental should have never changed. |

So you're saying they should stop people making quality games? No. If you want blocky things, play with LEGO or Minecraft where you can't (or need to mod to) script. If you want a better quality building experience, play ROBLOX. |

Also, they won't lower the price for one dollar because they would be wasting their money for lil kids. and since robux is VIRTUAL money, 2 robux cost one dollar.

I get what you mean bout the whole realism thing - if these people want realistic, they should go BUY a realistic video game.
Also, many copied places get ALOT of visits - just look at the copies of lakeside, for example.
And there is a certain user thou-shalt-not-be-named-in-interest-of-keeping-my-account-unbanned that we all know for a HUGE copier. DevEx would give them at LEAST a few hundered dollars/pounds/euros/whatever |

Lowering DevEx will help roblox maintain more money so they can stop making NBC even more poor.
Game developers will have to deal with the fact they don't just get 2000$ from building a 3d game out of plastic bricks, that luckily got famous by a bunch of kids playing it.

There are people who are using DevEx to go through college. You want to stop someone from getting a higher education? Let DevEx stay the same or increase and after while famous video game creators can say, "My career started on Roblox." |

let's be honest, roblox will not make ANY adjustments to DevEx, they have it set to where they make money and we make less but we still make it, in all reality they will NOT adjust it. |

Is there a problem with lower quality games? This is roBLOX, not roREALISM. This site WAS intended for kids, until teenagers came to make these high quality games. And what difference will it make? Games have been the exact same before and after DevEx.

Ok, first off, who would want to be known for starting a career by building a 3d world on a kids site for children to play?
second, people can go to college without using a kids site to get the money. And third, it's honestly too bad they won't get 2000$ dollars for building a 3d world on a site for children to play. And fourth, playing a kids game isn't going to make you a famous game maker in your future.

The games has the building and scripting aspect, making it useful if you're going ot be in the programming career.
Yes, it's roBlox, not roREALISM, but what does that even mean? As long as they're fun, realism doesn't affect these games.
DevEx encourages famous game makers to make quality games for the entertainment of the community. Reduce it, and they'll be discouraged.
Unlike you, there's nothing wrong with starting a career in a kids game. What does that show? |
