they had all they needed to have a sequel series and they just
played away with it
i don't think my disappointment of legend of korra can ever be explained through words
i came up with a better plot that could span 3 seasons in 5 mintes
why couldnt they in however long it took to plan |

the first half of the first season of it is amazingly amazing
and then the rest is just
blek
so completely
horrible

i think the reason it didn't have an overarching, season-spanning plot is because they wanted to distinguish the series from the last airbender
korra's a new avatar in a new world and she has to deal with different stuff
they didnt want it to just be "go out and save the world"
she deals with completely different issues than aang did, and i honestly what they were trying to go for
the 1st season of korra failed because its finale was so compressed - it felt like it should have been 3, but instead it was just 1
2nd season of korra failed because of bad writing
they got different writers and the new guys sucked |

good things about lok:
bolin as a love interest and a character
amon as an antagonist and a character
asami
strong independant female role models
BAD things about lok:
KORRA'S VIEWPOINT
korra
mako
mako as a love interest and a character
korra's viewpoint is wrong
how the conflict was resolved
mako and korra's relationship
asami and bolin being shoved to the side to focus on korra/mako
amon's character in the end
