Stop giving OBC'ers up to 2000$ with DevEx.
Lower it, so you don't need price floor to maintain the money.
Sounds like a legitimate plan.

Sounds good
which is why ROBLOX probably won't go with it |

We should get a lower DevEx rant with more supports then Malvus's.
This is the true solution. This is a turkey sandwich. This is the turkey(this thread), and it is not the bread(Malvus's thread). This is the core of a new generation of undoing an update in the first place.
This. Is. SPARTA. |

If it get out of hand, they can always remove the feature.
As a matter of fact, what was the point of DevEX? Not saying it was wrong on what they had done, hopefully knowing that they will still have enough money to suffice with it. Unfortunately, I don't believe they should reward these "artists" with real money if popularity and recognition wasn't enough.
Though that's just my opinion. You can't blame them for something that might not end up benefitting them on the plus side. |

Exactly.
What do people want for building a 3d world out of plastic blocks that luckily got famous by a bunch of children playing?
I mean really, removing DevEx will allow them to remove price floor, both solving every problem in the known universe.
They make profit out of it all, though, so obviously they'll never do anything to benefit NBC or else it'll take them a day longer to afford that hot tub they've been wanting. ._.-.-._. |

You know that DevEx was for? Advertising. Think about it. i've used this example before, but I'll use it again.
Person A: Hey! I made a game on Roblox and it got popular and now I get paid for it being popular!
Person B: Really? Getting money is that easy! I want to try!
Person A: Yeah! Alls you have to do is buy a membership and build a place and make it popular!
Person B: I can do that I bet! It sounds easy.
(Person B joins, buys a membership and builds a game which doesn't get popular, giving Roblox monehz) |

Sure, lets remove basically the only real incentive for old players such as myself to actually bother with ROBLOX and continue to develop things for this platform for you guys to enjoy.
Developer Exchange exists to give people the incentive to actually make quality games on this site. They're willing to give you $2,000 USD for 2,000,000 ROBUX. Sounds crazy, but when you've got that sort of motive behind you - you'll actually pull the weight for it.
Without this incentive, the older players of ROBLOX would have just left due to the fact that otherwise bothering with ROBLOX at all is a waste of time and it's better of that time was spent on some other platform. ROBLOX are doing this to keep the community who can actually make good quality things here longer, so that you guys; the end users - can enjoy greater content. |

The price floor wasn't added to bankroll the new DevEx feature. It was added to push the quality of clothing up and to allow for users to actually make a profit from creating clothes as the people who were doing it for fun were removing potential sales from those who created more pricey items. It was unfair. You also had the issue of people copying pricier items, then selling them for 1 ticket, etc.
Whilst the price floor was also added as an incentive to buy BC, it would do next to nothing to incentivize people to buy BC or Robux. So if anything, the price floor would only increase ROBLOX's income a fractional amount when compared to the amount of accounts on the website. |

Colourful, I've raised a valid opinion.
Clothing creators couldn't make any form of profit before, simply because those doing it for fun were pricing their clothing at a couple of tickets. Why pay for something that's 30 tickets, for example, when you can get something similar that 1 ticket?
Also, it lowers the amount of copying done for profit. How it currently is, a user who prices their item at 100 tickets and is then copied (and resold) the copier will not get as many sales, as why buy a copy of it (which may have degraded quality) when you can get the original for the same (or lower) price. Sure, BC members can copy it for themselves but it prevents them making as much profit from copying.

Stop complaining so much on price floor. |

Get the message?
Also, every upside has a downside. In this case, what're the DevEx members going to do? |

@Datastore
nope
@Scrin
THEY'RE GONNA GET A LIFE AND STOP MILKING ROBLOX FOR THEIR MONEY n00b
Either way, this suggestion is legit.

Guys, with DevEx people could just make games all day, because 2000 dollars a month is over the income a month of a employee in NC. |

@danieltck
People could make games all day, sure. But it's about if it's good enough quality to have mass amounts of people want to play it.
@OP
You sound like you hate OBC having another privilege over DevEx's existence. ROBLOX may be a kids gaming site, but its also an operating business. |
