Whats tax?
Roblox tax is when you sell a t shirt for 150 robux. But roblox tax then makes you only get 105 robux. I really dont see why it needs to be here. Only way i could think of why its there is ROBLOX made an attempt to make people buy more robux for more money for their company. Roblox has a pretty good source of money.
-BC TBC OBC
-Robux buying
-Price Floor
-Buying access to places
-And im sure more to come.
And, wasn't the price floor made to also get clothing producers more money? The tax is doing exactly the opposite. And you dont have to sign this anyway. Just thought i could do this. |

I reeeeeally hate the fee on the gear/place thing |
|

Why doesn't tax go the other way where the costumer has to pay the extra cash which is tax while the maker makes the whole amount. |

No Tax = ROBLOX Shutdown due to 2manyrichpeopl4u |

Keep in mind that roblox is't actually free. They have to pay to keep the site running, pay the moderators.. act |

Lethal it has no effect on the "roblox economy", the robux to tix ratio is higher than it has ever been and that's not a good thing for all non bc.
It's increasing the cost of robux, lowering cost of tix, but robux you can still purchase.
Ps. there really is no roblox economy, robux/tix ratio is dependent on limited offers. |
|
|
It prevents major inflation.
If there was no tax, the robux would never leave the system until a user buys something from Roblox, or runs an ad. Trust me, it does more good than harm. |

Not many intelligent people here, no use to try and make them understand. |
|

It's like in the real world. You pay taxes for the people that are a higher class than you so they can help you. |
|
|
All the taxation is doing is lowering the amount of robux in the system, which isn't necessarily a good thing.
Less robux = less people buying shirts/hats
and the money isn't even going towards anything, it's just... gone. |

@simple
I'm surprised an 06'er needs this explained to them.
We don't need anymore robux in the system. Prices would increase. TC would go into chaos.
If there was no tax, the entire economy would crumble. Not to mention the fact that people wouldn't buy as much robux, and that could lose Roblox hundreds, possibly thousands, of dollars.
Tax = Good. Deal with it. |

The system was a lot better before tax was implemented thank you very much, you talk about inflation yet don't seem to understand it has never affected Roblox, the prices of items where cheaper before tax as people now sell for higher prices.
Isn't roblox designed to reward successful users whether it be for creating clothes or places? Not taking away from them for no reason.
Don't talk about inflation and such if you have no idea on what it was like before hand.
This isn't a real world economy, you cannot purchase money in real-life.
This gives people with a lot of real world money an advantage.
Why doesn't it tax the purchases made with real money, take away %30 of bought robux?

The Robloxian Economy (What little there is) would fall apart, Tickets would meet their end, and Robux would be abundant. Now some people will ask what is so wrong about that? Well, since the tickets are now worthless, this makes ROBUX near impossible to get for Non-Bcers, crippling their financial situations. IT would just leave a big mess..

The tax is what keeps the economy together and simulates real world business.
No support.
However, lowering it would be nice. |
