Hello, quit ROBLOX a few years back and I recently got into it since I built a new PC. My question for the community is, how can I build with my character in-game whilst using the Explorer and Properties? I like to be able to have full control and use C-Frame tools that my character can hold.
What do I do? |

|
1) Open up ROBLOX Studio
2) Select Baseplate, click Build
3) Click View> Explorer
4) View> Properties
5) View Toolbox

I'm aware of that, but I want to be able to use my character and the Explorer/Properties/Toolbox |

Click F6, it's a shortcut to Tools > Test > Play Solo, which allows you to use your character in 'Build' mode. |

scott, that way is not as good.
Use the studio home page to navigate to build mode rather than the developer page.

He wants to have the Explorer and Properties windows, so he needs to do it the way I suggested. |

No scott, build mode inside studio has any windows you want.

Sorry, hadn't heard of that.
I always use Edit mode anyway, so I had to go to the ROBLOX Studio icon to find this out.

It's ok :) I use studio build all the time, it's pretty useful. Only downside is you can't undo, but the building tools I use have that built-in anyways.

You have to shop for each individual part that composes the PC, and then assemble them together perfectly. It's really hard, but people do it a lot so they can have faster gaming computers. Very expensive too. My cousin is building a computer, and his estimate is at $700-$900 after everything is finished.

Actually it's cheaper than buying a store-bought PC and that's one of the many reasons people build it. It's not that hard, you just have to learn what-goes-with-what.
My computer costed me around $600 to build myself, and my friend payed for a pre-built PC that costed about $600. The only difference is that my PC is much more powerful than his.
If you want to learn more about PC building, I recommend looking at a store such as Microcenter. They have some pretty good deals.
Sorry for being off topic, just trying to be informative! ^-^ |
