I am currently playing roblox for 5 years (1874 days) and I have seen a lot of changes happen.
I've seen a lot of nice graphic updates, I've seen the lua update.
Now I love it that Roblox brought the music in the game, now we can at least make our games more pleasant just by adding some sound we would like.
But there is still something missing that we had in the past, the meshes.
The ability to shape parts the way we want, it gave us the ability to make cool weapons, monsters, etc.
But now we have to do it all with blocks, welds and a plugin to scale models.
It would be easier if we could just open 3DS max, autoCAD, Solid Edge or whatever you would like to use, draw us something with the many functions those programs have and upload it.
I know this might take a lot of server space but if you look now there are thousands of models, decals and songs on Roblox' servers that have never even been used. That's why the amount of meshes people can upload should be limited. First of all limited to BC as they were in the past and second of all a limited amount which raises with your place visits.
If this doesn't convince enough that meshes are good for Roblox, you can ask something like 10 robux each mesh. This would prevent people from filling the servers will meshes of a simple ball or something and get Roblox a small extra income.
Roblox parts can collide, so why can't we add a colliding mesh? Just needs a little plugin to create the 3D object of the mesh and then use the same thing as with current collisions.
Thanks for your time,
