"RobloxPlayerLauncher could not load"

I haven't been able to play games since December because of this. Every time I press play on a roblox game it just downloads another file. I've already tried so many things to fix it. I've tried uninstalling/re-installing everything, I've tried using other browsers, I've tried messing with my pop-up/plugin settings. I can't fix it. I've tried asking info@roblox for help too but I got the usual half hearted response

ROBLOX game servers are currently down, don't un-install then re-install, just wait for them to fix it.

I know but I've tried doing all it's said and it's still down and I've heard it's the servers. However, players that are in games currently remain there.

I have had this problem too except for a lot longer, since August in fact! I'm not sure what it is but I found this helps but I have to admit, this isn't a permanant solution: Step 1) Open up ROBLOX Studio. Step 2) Click View at the top of the screen on the menu bar Step 3) Click Game Layout. If all this fails, try phoning ROBLOX support, that sort of thing will usually intimidate them rather than through email. Hope I helped! ;D

Since yesterday, I can't join games at all. I restarted my computor, tried to even Uninstall it in Control panel. I couldnt even uninstall it because it broke down again. My screen just says "Roblox is updating..." for 10 seconds then a pop up from windows says Roblox cannot start. I am truley clueless at why.
