(The route to the city isn't gated during the day as people roam in and out it is just guarded by a couple of guards. The palace itself is gated but fair point.)
General RP
One of the guards on the city wall noticed a strange figure heading towards the city. Pointing at him he beckoned him over with his hand to one side to check his suspicion. |

Evan slings his longbow over his shoulder, and then quickly moves out of a window towards his destination. It was quite useful that the rooftops were so close together, as it made for easy and quick travel through the city with few people and guards.

I see an armored man beckon me and I begin to hobble a bit towards him and keep a study hand on my staff. "Yes?" I ask the man with a cheery smile. |

The guard looks the strange man up and down before answering him. "What is your business here?" I ask him looking over at the other guard who was letting in less suspicious people without a second glance. |

The guard nodded. "Of course you do and who might you be if you don't mind me asking?" Not trusting the man although he seemed to be speaking truthfully having answered the previous question. |

(I knew that, I won't lie. I was trying to correct my self before you had the chance and I ended up messing up again and I left it at that. I didn't want a page of me correcting myself. xD)

I sensed distrust in the man and I smiled. "A friend to the kingdom." I say in a reassuring way; I didn't have mind control, not does any wizard or magician, but I did have the power to control anger and distrust to a certain extent. I could make people trust me, for the most part at least. |

The guard nods realising that this man having answered the questions so far would be no threat to the kingdom. "Alright go through. When you reach the palace gates you will meet the Grovyle who will take you to the king from there." |

I smile and move forward towards the heart of the kingdom. I knew exactly where to go, not so much the ability to see the future but the ability to predict the nature of man. Even for the most menial of things, I could expect a cough from a man but not predict a time of death. |

I stood at the palace gate as I watched people walk around the market area outside wondering what was going on inside the palace. Nothing interesting had happened over the last few days especially not this deep in the city. |

Grovyle
I notice a cloaked figure approaching the palace gate or at least he seemed to be as he wasn't looking around him or stopping. Many people wore cloaks though and he wasn't the most unusual person I had seem so I dismissed for that moment. |

As I walk up to the palace I see the Grovyle I was told of, already knowing of his presence however. I make it apparent to the Grovyle of my interest in entering the palace. |

I look back at the figure as I realise that he wanted to enter the palace and beckon whoever it is over to me. It seemed like he knew I was the one that had to take him through. |

Without being able to speak in the tongue of this man I simply nod and beckon him to follow me as I escort him into the palace after the other guards open the gate. |

I look down at the floor wondering how I would be able to reply to that question which I understood but I could not make the man understand. "Grovyle." Was the only reply that I could muster as I guided him through the entrance hall towards the great hall in confusion. |
