Karl would walk in and sit in the front, putting his binder down. He would flatten out his suit and open his binder open to the social studies tab and taking out several sheets of loose-leaf paper. His pen would be a fountain pen with a small ink well, opening the well he would set his pen into it and wait for something to write down. |

Naomi sat there, her eyes fixed on the folders that Ms. Smallity was looking through. She wondered what was in those folders and why it took the teacher so long to just browse through them. Naomi crossed her arms across her chest and remained sitting in her seat, not uttering a word at all. |

Naomi opened up her book, and began to read along with the teacher. Well, in her mind.. Her eyes darted along the pages as she read, occasionally she would turn the page when done with the others. There wasn't much to do, anyways. |

Karl would have a sheet of staff paper. He would write in the time and cleff, and leave it in the key of C. He would hum to himself, skimming the reading that he already read before he even came when he got his hands on the book. His sheet would be for a fife, and he would be at work writing in notes for the fun of it. |
