Basically, a scripting update.
The idea is to allow Saving / Loading of place data automatically.

1 game:GetService("PostService")
2 game:GetService("PostService"):Get(id)
3 game:GetService("PostService"):Post(str)
4 game:GetService("PostService").Data
5 (member of script) AllowPost
[[Descriptions]]
1 A new service, duh..
2 Put in a place id, you get what is stored on that place.
3 Set the current places data to the string str.
4 Its where the :Get function puts the data.
5 This is for anti-viral scripts wrecking your post data.
5 The model uploader uploads all scripts with this being FALSE.
5 It is also 'Not Scriptable'. This prevents OTHER PEOPLE scripts from doing things,
5 Unless you check that box.
The :Post command DOESN'T need filtering, because it has no URL (that passes the safe check).

You start with some 30 KB of storage space. After that, you can buy more space using Robux.

Updates for your models automatically
Web Systems
News Broadcast
Inter-Place warfare/communication
Inter-Place game playing
Inter-Place PMing

Sounds really great :D
Would be perfect for wanring people if I am going to shut a server down or for a Highscore list on my helicopter game. Seems revolutionary. :P |
