The only way I can see Bogut getting away with not playing is if the rib fracture is close to his heart or lungs.

Well I don't know much about hip flexors, but I DO know that I seriously injured mine about a year ago (Not sure if it was a tear, but I doubt it). Anyways, it was very hard to play, as each second the pain and stiffness got worse and worse. If that guy can play even a few minutes with a TORN hip flexor, it shows he has heart. Also, Logan Mankins played an entire NFL season with a torn ACL, so you're right-A fractured rib shouldn't be an excuse unless its in a serious place. ~The choice to be cynical might just be the most illogical decision you can make~

No I don't. Being that they haven't disclosed to CSN Bay Area (My local sports new station) where the fracture was located.

Oh, I forgot! When I was 5 I played 2-3 T-Ball games on a broken arm. Therefore, I would fully expect a grown man to play an NBA playoff game with a small fracture. ~The choice to be cynical might just be the most illogical decision you can make~
