The mouse pointer function probably malfunctioned in the RobloxPlayerBeta.exe programming.
This may mean you right need to restart the game (by re-installing it).
Do you see the cursor in mouselock?
An alternate to fix this:
1) Locate C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Roblox\Versions
2) Find the latest version out of the 5 versions. Usually the latest is at the top.
3) Once your in, go to content, then click on textures; now see if there is any cursor visible. If it's not there, let's convert it to the old cursor.
4) Locate MissingCursor.png in the folder you are in and make a copy of it on your desktop.
5) Install paint.NET if you don't have it.
6) Remove the cancel sign that hovers at the top-left point of the cursor, and use magic tool to make the background transparent.
7) Replace ArrowFarCursor.png with the modified version of MissingCursor.png, rename the copy of MissingCursor.png to ArrowFarCursor.png
8) Replace advCursor-white.png with the modified version of MissingCursor.png, rename the copy of MissingCursor.png to advCursor-white.png
9) Now modify the copy of MissingCursor.png so that the cursor is a little black. With this modified version, now replace ArrowCursor.png, ArrowCursorDecalDrag.png and advCursor-default.png
That's pretty much what you need if you are not a builder.
If you are a builder, in ROBLOX Studio, it's a different level.
Now, if you are a builder or the steps are too complicated, find a copy of content or textures to replace. |
