"Water is fine," I say, continuing to eat my porridge. For a place for Divines, the food's a bit bland. Well, no matter. I won't be here for very long, hopefully. I'm at unease in this place, even when I'm not near that congregation. |

Lady Valor walks back in with a glass of water, though stops as she stares at you eating your partner's food. "How did I surmise it?" She muttered before walking over and gingerly setting the water down next to you. "Anything else you need? Or can I get back to relaxing like I've done for way too long?" |

"Back in my day, no. We didn't really have any! You had your blanket and your mattress -- that was it." She leaned down, furrowing her brows. "You need to learn how to be less accommodated to luxuries. After all, there may come a time where you get no such thing. I think you understand this well, yes?"
The irony is almost palpable as you look around the room. |

"Not really." She replies, sitting back on the sofa. "Some people here are pilgrims, if you will. The dead must go someplace. From stories I hear, some of the more deserving ones end up here. I don't know what would exactly classifies as 'deserving' but..." |

(I feel I must clarify. I haven't really been responding to any of what you've been saying because you aren't really part of the RP. It's only Z0rr0w's actions and responses that I will actually listen to.)
"Yes and no." She replies. "I sometimes get an influx of souls that pass away if they've been good boys and girls. This isn't the only place, but this is one of the several places they can go. The Divines you see are the physical manifestations of humanity's good features. Irenic are the oldest Divines as far as I know." |

She tilted her head as she rested a hand on her chest. "There's me," she grinned without even a hint of chagrin, "but real talk... I'm not sure. I don't keep track of who's who in this realm. I just know whether to whip the naughty ones into Hell or let them stay comfy. The most interesting might be the Divines. They always have strange talks. They give some decent insight for anything, though." |
