Thought this may be interesting to some.
In my opinion, this would literally be a godsend.
If this idea gains enough steam, I’d gladly make a MOC-up.
So the website is divided into sections, each with it's own subdomain. Of course ROBLOX obviously has the means necessary to do so, so we just need to get a mod to see this thread. If you truly like this idea, please bump this until it is noticed.
First, clans.roblox.com.
This section holds clans, the leaderboard(should this new update stay), a uniform store, and C&G. C&G would have multiple subforums of its own, such as "Official declarations" or "wars"(discussion of ongoing wars).
Next, market.roblox.com
This would hold the catalog, trade system, LMaD, and TC. This would include kind of a stock market-esque live chart showing how items are increasing and decreasing in price. LMaD would also have certain subforums of its own, such as “Offers”, “Trade Currency”, etc.
Next, games.roblox.com
This would hold the games, the fan groups of games, etc. It would probably also hold a few subforums as well.
Next, talk.roblox.com
This site would be for mainly 13+.(I know that’s WNTS, but it’s still part of this scenario). All other areas of the forum that wouldn't be in Market, Games, Clans, or the forthcoming Developer sections would be here. That would include for instance RT, ATR, OT, Sports Fans, Movie Fans, all the fans as a matter of fact. Basically the bulk of the forums and the groups that go with them.
Next, develop.roblox.com
This is the developer’s zone for the entire website. As some parts would be open to the general public, some would also be restricted to staff-ordained “Developers”. These people would be the best builders, scripters, and graphic designers in the general community, and would have easy access to the moderators. This would hold the RBXDev forum and areas similar. It would also house developer groups, like MAD Studio for instance.
And Finally, suggestions.roblox.com.
Yes, a whole subsection of the site devoted to asking questions, making suggestions, etc. Why? S&I really is just a PR stunt that is set up to “give members a voice”. We get it. Not every idea can be heard. So, this would force the staff’s hand to really listen in on what is happening with the community. They could possibly hire a few special customer service people just to look at ideas. They could also have a system that “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” ideas.
As john would say,
“Just my 2c.”
What do you think?

Sorry, but I really don't think this is necessary. Everything fits fine with this layout; all that that would do would make things more confusing. |

I'll make an example when I get home. |

The site layout is fine enough, so I'm not sure about this.
@SneakyDudeman
Aren't the forums 13+? |

I know they did. I was at Chicago.
This is just a good way for them to do it. |
