What is war? War is balance, for every force there must be an equal and opposite force. War and peace, yin and yang. Balance.
In the year two thousand and twenty the United states had become nothing but a crippled nation, countless years of war had created an era of poverty and death.
This once great nation of the US of A had been brought to it's knees. No longer is war about dominance or peace. The war on U.S. Soil is now about survival.
---Information---
On November 27th, 2015, an unknown mercenary organization, only known as the syndicate, began open warfare on the USA, they were equipped with advanced technology that proved far superior to our tactics. Slowly, over a few years, the US was pushed back to it's own soil. Our off country bases destroyed and taken.
The syndicate is now waging open warfare. But due to around the clock research we have brought our technology to near better, equaling them and possibly besting them. No longer are we just slaughtered. Now we have a chance, and on our soil, we will push them back
--Technical Information--
Your enemy is known only as The Syndicate. They are heavily armed, and tactically trained.
Our technology is know caught up to theirs due to reverse engineering, as well as a few prototypes that can give us the advantage.
Technology such as drones, advanced optics, and air support have been developed.
Mainly the guns are the same as current day.
For weapons please do a little research, google is your friend.
Max of two attachments.
Your roles will be decided depending on weapon class.

1. My word is law, no if's and's or but's.
2. I don't care if you have complaints regarding realism, I.E. Ammo, worrying about ammo is way to complicated.
3. I am the only admin, and I am the GM.
4. You tell me what you want to do and I'll respond with what does happen.
5. Keep OOC and pointless chitchat out of this thread.
6. Ignore trolls. If you even acknowledge them then your out. No exceptions.
7. Highest allowable rank for any branch is 5, count five up from the first enlisted rank and that is your limit. No exceptions.
8. Do research for ranks, doesn't take long.

United States Marines: Taking the fight to the enemy on the second front. The Marine corps is attempting to infiltrate and take back our off-shore bases, forcing the enemy to fight on two fronts of war.
United States Army: Fighting the enemy on the pacific cost, liberating towns and cities taken. repelling the brunt of the invasion.

Appearance: 6'4, 180 pounds (Mostly muscle), Buzz cut brown hair with thick eyebrows and hazel eyes.
Personality: Competent as a engineering officer, though he has a deep fear of penguins do to childhood trauma. He suffers from insomnia and is generally sleep deprived. He try's to act noble but it's an obvious act.
Bio: He comes from a large, middle class family, most of his sibling are in the service, but not under the Navy. He joined early and ranked up slowly to Petty Officer. He was put in charge of engineering for a small DMS.

Appearance: Hazel eyes and brown, sandy, hair. About 6' 2". Wears standard digital camouflage.
Personality: He's quick and witty, though not calm on the battlefield. He says being calm is what get's you killed. He takes it slow and steady, and seems like he's under constant stress. Hard work going behind enemy lines.
Bio: Not sure what to do with his life, he joined the Marine core as soon as possible. He spends a lot of time behind the lines, taking down high priority targets quickly, quietly, and unnoticed. At least he tries to.
