Say your demonic little brother sees you type in your password on the moniter. You make sure he doesn't see you typing on the keyboard. But then he looks at the screen, seeing it's just a bunch of asterisks. He won't know your password.
But let's say he didn't see you typing and instead he saw your password on the screen, bright as day. Now he waits until you go to sleep, and BAM he's deleting all your hats, giving you a nooby look, and starts spamming and swearing on the forums and spawnkilling and teamkilling and every other noobish thing on the planet! All of the admins and mods take out their banhammas and hits your account on the head with a nice, big, permanent IP ban and no more account making for you.
Now, that wouldn't be good, now would it?
