How about adding a wishlist? Basically, a wishlist is a list containing stuff, like hats and shirts, that someone wishes to have. Basically, a wishlist acts like a "I want to buy this sooner or later" list, which can work really well for people (like me) who are saving up for hats. Adding items to the wishlist would be very simple, like adding something as a favorite; go to the item's info page, and click Add To Wishlist. As simple as that. Not only that, but the wishlist will actually match the current amount of tickets and robux you have, and match it to the retail price of the items you have on your wishlist. That way, you'll have an idea of when you can get [Insert Wishlist Item Here]. Also, other people can go to your wishlist, and actually buy the item for you as a gift. This would be done by going to the user's wishlist, scrolling to the item you want to buy for the user, and click "Buy As Gift". A pop-up will come up, the same as the one when you go to buy something, will ask the following, if you have enough money;
"Would you like to buy [Insert Item Name Here], for [Insert User's Name Here], for [Insert Amount of Tickets/ROBUX Here]? Your balance after purchase will be: [Insert Amount of Tickets/ROBUX Here]"
If you don't have enough money, this will pop-up;
"Sorry, you do not have enough money to purchase this item for [Insert User's Name Here]."
This would be a simple gifting system, and would also help users actually control the items that user would want to be gifted. Also, in order to prevent begging, any people who constantly beg/harass someone to gift them something on their wishlist, may be reported for harassment. Although, I'm pretty sure a flooding of threads begging for gifts would surely happen, those can be just reported too.
Despite the small issues this feature could have, I think it could be a wonderful addition to ROBLOX, not to mention that both Non-BC and BC members can have items on their wishlist, not to mention it can be anything, including models, shirts, anything that can be purchased from the catalog. Although I would rather want non-BC members to be able to, I don't think non-BC members would be allowed to put ROBUX-Only items onto their wishlist, although it really doesn't matter anyway, because nobody has to gift someone something on their wishlist if they don't want to. Basically, everything would probably work out for this feature, if it was added. |
