The only reason people like it is because Bryan Cranston is in it. And he died in the first 30 minutes.
I honestly don't care that there wasn't much Godzilla for a Godzilla movie. Besides, most people like it because it's overhyped, and when people exaggerate a movie it tends to pass on.
Like avatar. Awful movie but good effects, so people went on about how good it is because it looked realistic which caused a chain of people pretending they liked it. |

Most of the people liked it because of monsters bashing their head in, not only because of him. Story is kinda meh, but what do you expect from a movie where giant monsters bash their head in.
