Macklemore won Grammy for Hip Hop Album of the Year, as well as Best New Artist.
Having a lot of awards does not make you some GOAT artist. Lyrically, Eminem stands somewhere in the top ranks but using his sales and amount of awards gained as an argument is quite asinine. Especially when you consider all of the artists who sell more than someone like Doom yet can't even beat a few of his lines with a whole album lyrically.
Eminem is one of the most overrated hip hop artists of all time. Of course he'd sell fast. He literally has an army of pop fans backing him up even more than legitimate hip hop heads do. |

Em's probably in my top 20 doe. By top 20 i mean if i was going by overall talent. He wouldn't touch favorites. He'd be higher if that god awful stint from Encore to Recovery wasn't so long and painful. |
