The thought occurred to me after I re-scrapped yet another project of mine, which lasted only for two days. Why is building in studio boring when I have no problems building in game? The obvious answer is boredom, but what causes it? After thinking about this problem for some time, I came to think that this is caused by a lack of attention by others. There are millions of games out there. The slim possibility of your game being noticed makes people think wonder if the effort they put in will pay off in the end. Especially if you have absolutely no one - not even friends - to play your game, you basically have no motive to build unless you're ambitious enough to make a good game for your own pride. The new UI Ribbon studio was probably created to encourage players to build due to its visual appeal. Yeah yeah, that's great and all, but being able to receive attention for the progress of your work is even a greater reason for someone to continue making a quality game. That means a system needs to be created to bring more notice to good games in progress, maybe an easily accessible "Games in Development" section on the front page? To many, this idea seems useless, but I am truly convinced that this could bring more attention to aspiring developers and surge the amount of quality games that everyone has to potential to create.

Building in ROBLOX is not that boring. I build every day and I still don't find building boring. ~Why do we fall? ~ So we can learn to pick ourselves up. ~

You have thousands of place visits. You get attention for making games so you are encouraged to build. That's different for people who don't get any visits.

Well... unless you have a goal or something, you won't be inclined to build.
